A TYPICAL DAY WITH THE DOLPHINS
We arrange tailor made trips for individuals, couples and families, as well as regular retreat groups. The retreat groups are kept small to create a warm, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
For retreat group participants: there are four boat trips out to the dolphins during your week long stay.
For non group visitors: we can arrange either a single day, or multiple days for the dolphin boat swims to suit your desires and schedule.
We spend as much time in the water as possible and interact with the dolphins for as much as they wish. No special swimming skills are required, the only requirement is that you can swim. It is advisable to bring your own snorkel, mask and fins, or you can easily rent them locally, but check with us first as it may be possible to borrow them from the boat. Also available on the boat are swim aids (noodles & body boards) to help support the not so confident swimmer.
It may also be possible on non boat days to swim out from the shore for further interactions with the dolphins, if they happen to visit some of the local bays in the area. But for this you will need to a fairly competent swimmer.
Please note: there is no guarantee that the dolphins will actually be in the bays. However, I am happy to be your swim guide if you would like to go find out !
The bays are also a great for swimming and snorkelling around the coral reefs, with its array of colourful fish, manta rays and turtles. Night swims with the manta rays are also available.
For the retreat groups only: We have optional evening meditations and time for sharing our experiences. There are rest days and free time throughout the week, to spend as you wish.
Angelina also offers healing and spiritual counselling for all participants if they so wish, this is free of charge.
